Treatment of respiratory diseases in children often requires a device that is designed for children while still working reliably. The Flaem Puppy is a medical device and is intended for adults, children of all ages and newborn babies. For newborn babies, children of all ages or persons with limited abilities, the presence of a responsible supervising person is required.

Adjustable nebulisation for different therapies The integrated RF8 Dual Speed Nebulizer offers two speed settings (MIN and MAX), allowing the delivery rate to be adjusted between 0.19 and 0.40 ml per minute. Depending on the selected setting, the mass median aerodynamic diameter (MMAD) ranges from 4.01 to 4.48 µm, while the respirable fraction below 5 µm is between 55.5 and 61.1 percent. These values affect how deeply the nebulised medication reaches the airways. The nebuliser chamber holds up to 8 ml of liquid for one inhalation session.

Suitable equipment for adults and children The scope of delivery includes Soft-Touch masks for adults and children, which adapt to different face shapes. In addition, the device can be used together with the Rhino Clear nasal rinse if supplementary nasal cleaning is part of the therapy. A highly efficient air filter reduces the entry of contaminants into the compressor and helps maintain its functionality during use.
